SPACEAGAIN Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 5 July 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) explain how SPACEAGAIN provides its storage services and set out the agreement between you and BelieveX Ltd, trading as SPACEAGAIN.

Please read these Terms carefully before placing an order. By creating an account, placing an order, or using any SPACEAGAIN service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use our services.

These Terms should also be read alongside our Privacy Policy and any other policies published on our website.

1. Definitions

2. About SPACEAGAIN

SPACEAGAIN provides a simple, affordable storage service for people who only need to store a small number of boxes.

Unlike traditional self-storage companies, customers do not rent an entire storage unit. Instead, you only pay for the number of boxes you wish to store.

Our service is operated entirely by courier.

You pack your boxes, arrange collection through SPACEAGAIN, and we securely store them until you ask for them to be returned.

Customers do not have access to our warehouse and cannot visit, collect from, or deliver directly to any storage location unless we specifically agree otherwise in writing.

SPACEAGAIN currently provides its services to customers located within mainland England, Scotland and Wales, subject to any postcode or location restrictions published on our website.

3. Who Can Use Our Service

To use SPACEAGAIN you must:

  • be at least 18 years old;
  • provide accurate and up-to-date contact information;
  • have a valid UK collection address within our service area;
  • be legally entitled to possess and store all items placed inside your boxes;
  • comply with these Terms at all times.

You confirm that all information you provide during the booking process is accurate.

If any information changes, including your contact details or email address, you should update your Customer Portal as soon as reasonably possible.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking where incorrect, misleading or fraudulent information has been provided.

4. Our Storage Service

SPACEAGAIN stores sealed boxes only.

We do not provide:

  • self-storage units;
  • warehouse access for customers;
  • packing services;
  • removals services;
  • house moves;
  • valuation services.

Our responsibility begins only after your box has been successfully delivered to one of our warehouses and accepted into our storage system.

Likewise, our responsibility for storage ends once your box has been handed to the return courier following a valid return request.

Collection and return services are provided using carefully selected third-party courier companies.

While we work with trusted courier partners, delivery and collection services remain subject to their operational schedules and availability.

5. Creating Your Order

To place an order you will be asked to provide information including:

  • the number of boxes;
  • the approximate dimensions of each box;
  • the approximate weight of each box;
  • your collection address;
  • your preferred collection date;
  • your contact details;
  • payment information.

It is your responsibility to ensure all information is accurate.

Courier charges are calculated using the information you provide.

If the actual dimensions or weight differ significantly from those declared, additional charges may apply before your box can be accepted for storage.

Once payment has been successfully processed, you will receive confirmation of your order.

An order confirmation does not guarantee acceptance of a box that exceeds our published limits or breaches these Terms.

SPACEAGAIN reserves the right to refuse any collection or storage request that does not comply with these Terms.

6. Box Size & Weight Requirements

To keep our pricing simple and fair, every box stored with SPACEAGAIN must comply with our maximum size and weight limits.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, each box must:

  • Measure no more than approximately 55 cm × 55 cm × 55 cm.
  • Weigh no more than 25 kg when fully packed.
  • Be capable of being safely lifted by one person.
  • Be securely sealed before collection.

The published dimensions are intended as a practical guide rather than an exact engineering measurement. If one side of a box is slightly larger but another is proportionately smaller, we may still accept it at our discretion.

We reserve the right to measure and weigh any box before accepting it into storage.

If a box exceeds our published limits, we may:

  • refuse collection;
  • refuse storage;
  • request that the contents are repacked;
  • apply additional courier or handling charges where applicable; or
  • return the box to you at your expense.

Any additional charges resulting from incorrect dimensions or weight declarations remain the responsibility of the customer.

Repeated attempts to send oversized or overweight boxes may result in future bookings being refused.

7. Packing Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring your belongings are packed appropriately before collection.

All boxes should be packed in a way that protects their contents during normal courier transportation and long-term storage.

We recommend that customers:

  • use strong cardboard boxes in good condition;
  • use heavier-duty or double-wall boxes for heavier items;
  • completely seal every opening using quality parcel tape;
  • wrap fragile items individually using suitable protective materials;
  • fill empty spaces within the box to prevent movement during transport;
  • ensure lids cannot accidentally open during handling.

Boxes that are damaged, excessively worn, poorly sealed or considered unsafe to transport may be refused by either SPACEAGAIN or the courier.

If a courier refuses to collect a box because it has not been packed appropriately, any applicable failed collection charges remain your responsibility.

SPACEAGAIN accepts no responsibility for damage resulting from:

  • insufficient packaging;
  • inadequate internal protection;
  • overfilled boxes;
  • weak or damaged cardboard;
  • poor sealing;
  • movement of contents inside the box.

Customers remain solely responsible for deciding how their belongings are packed.

8. Prohibited Items

Certain items cannot be accepted for storage because they may be unlawful, dangerous, perishable or unsuitable for long-term storage.

You must not place any of the following inside a SPACEAGAIN storage box:

  • cash or currency;
  • bank cards;
  • passports;
  • driving licences;
  • birth certificates;
  • wills or legal documents where the original is irreplaceable;
  • jewellery;
  • watches;
  • precious metals;
  • gemstones;
  • antiques of exceptional value;
  • works of art of exceptional value;
  • firearms;
  • ammunition;
  • imitation firearms;
  • explosives;
  • fireworks;
  • flares;
  • compressed gas cylinders;
  • petrol or diesel;
  • paints;
  • solvents;
  • hazardous chemicals;
  • corrosive substances;
  • toxic materials;
  • asbestos;
  • radioactive materials;
  • illegal drugs;
  • controlled substances stored unlawfully;
  • counterfeit goods;
  • stolen property;
  • tobacco products intended for resale;
  • alcohol intended for resale;
  • perishable food;
  • refrigerated or frozen food;
  • live plants;
  • seeds requiring controlled storage;
  • animals or insects;
  • human or animal remains;
  • biological samples;
  • medical waste;
  • items producing strong odours;
  • wet or mould-contaminated items;
  • lithium batteries that are damaged, swollen or unsafe;
  • any item prohibited by our courier partners;
  • any item whose possession or storage is unlawful under UK law.

This list is not exhaustive.

SPACEAGAIN may refuse any item which, in our reasonable opinion:

  • presents a health or safety risk;
  • could damage other customers’ property;
  • could damage our warehouse;
  • could damage courier vehicles;
  • may invalidate our insurance;
  • is unsuitable for storage.

If prohibited items are discovered, we may:

  • refuse storage;
  • refuse collection;
  • isolate the box;
  • arrange its return at your expense;
  • dispose of the item where legally permitted; or
  • notify the appropriate authorities where required by law.

No refund of storage or courier charges will be due where prohibited items have been sent in breach of these Terms.

9. Collections

SPACEAGAIN offers a courier collection service from eligible mainland UK addresses.

When booking a collection, you are responsible for:

  • providing an accurate collection address;
  • selecting an available collection date;
  • ensuring someone is available if required by the courier;
  • ensuring the courier has safe and reasonable access to the property;
  • ensuring all boxes are fully packed before collection.

Collection dates are requested dates only.

While we will make every reasonable effort to arrange collection on the selected date, neither SPACEAGAIN nor our courier partners guarantee collection at a specific time or within a particular time window unless expressly stated.

Courier collections may occasionally be delayed due to circumstances outside our control, including traffic, weather, vehicle breakdowns, operational issues or unusually high demand.

Such delays do not constitute a breach of these Terms.

10. Failed Collections

A collection may fail where, for example:

  • no one is available when required;
  • the courier cannot safely access the property;
  • the address supplied is incorrect;
  • the box exceeds our published size or weight limits;
  • the box has not been packed appropriately;
  • the courier reasonably believes collection would be unsafe.

Where a collection fails due to circumstances within the customer’s control, additional collection charges may apply before another collection can be arranged.

If repeated failed collections occur, SPACEAGAIN reserves the right to cancel the order.

11. Acceptance Into Storage

Storage does not begin when your box is collected.

Storage begins only after:

  • the box has arrived safely at one of our warehouses;
  • it has passed our acceptance checks; and
  • it has been entered into our storage management system.

Following acceptance, we may:

  • apply our own barcode;
  • apply our own QR code;
  • apply warehouse identification labels;
  • record the box location;
  • photograph the exterior of the box for identification purposes;
  • record the condition of the outer packaging.

These records help us accurately identify and return your belongings.

SPACEAGAIN does not routinely open customer boxes.

Unless we are required to do so under these Terms or by law, we rely upon the descriptions provided by customers when managing stored goods.

The storage location of your box may change at any time as part of normal warehouse operations.

We may transfer your box between shelving locations, storage containers or warehouses without prior notice, provided your property continues to receive the same standard of care and security.

Customers have no right to access, visit or inspect any warehouse used by SPACEAGAIN.

12. Customer Portal

When you create an account with SPACEAGAIN, you will have access to your Customer Portal.

The Customer Portal allows you to:

  • view your stored boxes;
  • add or update box descriptions;
  • request the return of individual boxes or all stored boxes;
  • update your contact information;
  • manage your payment details;
  • view your order history.

You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential.

You must notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

SPACEAGAIN accepts no responsibility for losses resulting from unauthorised access where your login details have not been kept secure.

We may temporarily suspend access to your account where we reasonably believe there has been fraudulent activity, unauthorised access or a breach of these Terms.

13. Monthly Storage Subscription

Storage is charged on a monthly rolling subscription.

The current storage fee is displayed on our website at the time of booking.

Unless otherwise stated, storage fees are charged per accepted box.

There is no minimum storage period.

Your subscription automatically renews each month until you request the return of your box or otherwise end your storage agreement with us.

Storage charges are payable in advance.

If we change our storage prices in the future, we will give existing customers reasonable notice before the new pricing takes effect.

14. Monthly Billing

Your monthly billing date is established when your first storage payment is taken.

Future storage fees will normally be collected on or around the same date each month.

Storage fees continue until your box has been scheduled for return in accordance with these Terms.

Where you submit a valid return request before your next monthly payment is due, we will normally cancel the upcoming storage payment so that you are not charged for an additional month.

For example, if your monthly payment is due on the 14th of each month and you request the return of your box on the 12th, your subscription will normally end before the payment due on the 14th is collected, even if the courier collects or delivers your box a few days later.

No partial refunds are given for unused days within a paid storage month.

15. Collection and Return Charges

Storage fees do not include courier transportation.

Separate charges apply when:

  • collecting your boxes for storage; and
  • returning your boxes to you.

Courier charges are calculated using information including:

  • the dimensions of each box;
  • the declared weight of each box;
  • the collection postcode;
  • the delivery postcode;
  • any applicable courier surcharges.

Courier prices may vary over time.

The price quoted when you request a collection or return will be confirmed before payment is taken.

If additional courier costs arise because incorrect information was provided by the customer, SPACEAGAIN reserves the right to recover those additional costs before the service is completed.

16. Requesting Your Boxes Back

You may request the return of your stored boxes at any time through your Customer Portal.

You may choose to return:

  • a single box;
  • several boxes; or
  • every box stored on your account.

When submitting a return request, you will be asked to:

  • confirm the boxes you wish to receive;
  • confirm the delivery address;
  • select an available return date where applicable;
  • pay the applicable return delivery charges.

Submitting a return request does not guarantee delivery on a particular date.

Once your return request has been confirmed and payment has been received, we will begin preparing your order for dispatch.

We reserve the right to delay dispatch where:

  • payment remains outstanding;
  • identity verification is required;
  • further information is reasonably required from you; or
  • circumstances outside our reasonable control prevent dispatch.

17. Return Deliveries

Unless otherwise agreed, all stored boxes are returned using third-party courier services.

You may request delivery to any eligible mainland UK address supported by our courier network.

The return address does not need to be the same address used when your box was originally collected.

Delivery estimates are provided for guidance only.

Neither SPACEAGAIN nor our courier partners guarantee delivery at a specific time unless expressly confirmed.

Someone may need to be available to accept delivery.

Where a delivery fails because:

  • the address provided is incorrect;
  • nobody is available where required;
  • access to the property is unavailable; or
  • the courier is unable to complete delivery for reasons within the customer’s control, additional delivery charges may apply before a further delivery attempt is made.

Risk in the box passes back to you once the courier has successfully delivered it to the address provided in your return request.

18. Identity Verification

To help protect our customers against fraud and unauthorised access, SPACEAGAIN may require reasonable proof of identity before returning stored goods.

Examples of acceptable verification may include:

  • photographic identification;
  • confirmation of account information;
  • confirmation of payment details; or
  • verification using your registered email address or telephone number.

If we reasonably believe a return request is fraudulent or unauthorised, we may delay or refuse dispatch until satisfactory verification has been completed.

These checks are carried out solely to protect the security of our customers’ property.

19. Changes to Your Booking

You may update certain booking information before your collection takes place by contacting us or using your Customer Portal where available.

Once a courier booking has been confirmed, changes may not always be possible.

Where changes result in additional courier costs, those costs may be payable by you before the revised booking is confirmed.

If you wish to change:

  • the collection address;
  • the delivery address;
  • the collection date;
  • the number of boxes; or
  • the dimensions or weight of your boxes,

please notify us as soon as possible.

We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate changes but cannot guarantee they will always be possible after a booking has been submitted to our courier partners.

20. Warehouse Operations

To ensure efficient operation of our service, SPACEAGAIN may manage your stored boxes using internal warehouse procedures.

This may include:

  • applying our own barcode labels;
  • applying QR code labels;
  • assigning internal identification numbers;
  • photographing the exterior of boxes;
  • scanning boxes during movement;
  • relocating boxes within a warehouse;
  • transferring boxes between warehouses operated by or on behalf of SPACEAGAIN.

These operational procedures do not affect your ownership of the stored goods.

Customers have no right to specify the warehouse, shelf, container or storage location used for their boxes.

The exact location of our storage facilities is confidential and is not disclosed to customers except where required by law.

21. Insurance

Unless otherwise stated at the time of booking, every accepted box stored with SPACEAGAIN includes up to £100 of insurance cover while it is in our care, custody and control.

The level of cover included is shown on our website at the time your order is placed.

Any insurance cover provided forms part of these Terms and is subject to the conditions and exclusions below.

Insurance is intended to cover physical loss of, or physical damage to, stored items. It is not a replacement for home contents insurance and should not be relied upon for high-value possessions.

If you require cover above the included amount, you should arrange your own insurance before using our service unless we specifically offer additional cover.

22. Insurance Exclusions

The included insurance does not cover, including but not limited to:

  • prohibited items;
  • cash or currency;
  • jewellery;
  • watches;
  • precious metals;
  • gemstones;
  • passports;
  • deeds or irreplaceable legal documents;
  • sentimental value;
  • gradual deterioration;
  • mould or mildew caused by damp items packed by the customer;
  • rust or corrosion;
  • moth or insect damage arising from items packed before storage;
  • electrical or mechanical failure;
  • scratches, dents or cosmetic damage not affecting the item’s function;
  • inherent defects within an item;
  • damage caused by poor or inadequate packing;
  • overfilled or overweight boxes;
  • normal wear and tear;
  • loss resulting from inaccurate descriptions supplied by the customer;
  • confiscation by a lawful authority;
  • damage caused by prohibited items packed within the same box.

Insurance is limited to the actual financial value of the damaged item immediately before the loss occurred and is subject to a maximum payment of £100 per stored box, unless additional cover has been purchased in writing.

Under no circumstances will SPACEAGAIN compensate for emotional or sentimental value.

23. Making an Insurance Claim

If you believe your property has been lost or damaged while in our care, you must notify us as soon as reasonably possible.

Where possible, claims should be submitted within 7 days of receiving your returned box.

To assess your claim, we may request:

  • photographs of the damaged item;
  • photographs of the outer box;
  • photographs of the internal packaging;
  • proof of purchase;
  • proof of value;
  • any other information reasonably required to investigate the claim.

Failure to provide requested information may delay or prevent the assessment of your claim.

Any fraudulent or deliberately misleading claim will result in the claim being rejected and may lead to your account being permanently closed.

Nothing within this section affects your statutory rights.

24. Loss or Damage

SPACEAGAIN takes reasonable care when handling and storing customer property.

However, we cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control or from matters for which the customer is responsible.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • inadequate packaging;
  • incorrectly sealed boxes;
  • fragile items packed without suitable protection;
  • deterioration occurring naturally over time;
  • prohibited items;
  • incorrect weight declarations;
  • manufacturing defects in stored items;
  • damage occurring before collection;
  • acts or omissions of the customer.

Where courier transport is involved, liability may also be subject to the terms and conditions of the courier providing the service.

Nothing within these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

25. Our Liability

We will always provide our services using reasonable care and skill.

Subject to applicable law, SPACEAGAIN’s total liability arising from any one claim shall not exceed:

  • the amount of included insurance applicable to the affected box; or
  • any higher level of insurance specifically purchased by the customer.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SPACEAGAIN shall not be liable for:

  • indirect losses;
  • consequential losses;
  • loss of profit;
  • loss of business;
  • loss of opportunity;
  • loss of income;
  • inconvenience;
  • emotional distress;
  • sentimental value;
  • replacement accommodation;
  • replacement transport costs;
  • missed events or appointments arising from delivery delays.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by negligence;
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
  • any liability which cannot legally be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.

26. Inspection of Boxes

SPACEAGAIN respects the privacy of its customers and does not routinely open sealed boxes.

However, we reserve the right to inspect any box where we reasonably believe it is necessary to:

  • investigate suspected prohibited items;
  • protect the safety of our staff;
  • protect other customers’ property;
  • comply with legal obligations;
  • comply with requests from law enforcement or regulatory authorities;
  • investigate suspected fraud;
  • investigate insurance claims;
  • assess damage caused during transport.

Where reasonably possible, inspections will be limited to the minimum necessary.

Opening a box under these circumstances does not create any obligation for SPACEAGAIN to verify the contents or produce an inventory of the items inside.

27. Payments

You authorise SPACEAGAIN to collect all agreed charges using your chosen payment method.

These charges may include:

  • monthly storage fees;
  • collection charges;
  • return delivery charges;
  • additional courier charges resulting from incorrect declarations;
  • any other charges agreed between you and SPACEAGAIN.

You are responsible for ensuring your payment method remains valid throughout the storage period.

If a payment cannot be collected, we may attempt to take payment again using the same payment method.

28. Failed Payments

If a payment remains unpaid, SPACEAGAIN may:

  • contact you using your registered contact details;
  • suspend access to certain account features;
  • refuse further collections;
  • delay return deliveries;
  • suspend your subscription;
  • charge reasonable recovery costs where legally permitted.

Failure to make payment does not automatically end your storage agreement.

Storage charges continue to accrue until the agreement is properly terminated under these Terms.

29. Non-Payment and Abandoned Goods

If storage fees remain unpaid for an extended period, SPACEAGAIN may exercise any legal rights available to recover outstanding sums.

Where permitted by law, this may include exercising a lien over stored goods.

Before taking further action, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you using the contact details held on your account.

If:

  • we receive no response;
  • payment remains outstanding; and
  • we reasonably believe the goods have been abandoned,

we may, after providing any notices required by law:

  • arrange disposal of the goods;
  • sell the goods;
  • apply sale proceeds towards outstanding charges and reasonable costs; and
  • account to you for any remaining balance where legally required.

Nothing within this section affects any rights available to either party under applicable law.

Customers remain responsible for all reasonable costs incurred in recovering unpaid amounts.

30. Cancellation and Consumer Rights

If you are purchasing our services as a consumer, you may have rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

You may have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of placing it.

However, if you ask us to begin providing the services during this cancellation period (for example by arranging collection of your boxes), you acknowledge that:

  • we may begin providing the requested services immediately;
  • you may be required to pay for any services already provided before cancellation; and
  • once your boxes have entered storage, your cancellation rights may be reduced or end in accordance with applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.

31. Ending Your Storage Agreement

You may end your storage agreement at any time by requesting the return of all remaining stored boxes through your Customer Portal.

Your monthly storage subscription will normally stop before your next billing date provided your return request has been submitted before the next payment becomes due.

Storage fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

Your agreement with SPACEAGAIN ends once:

  • all outstanding charges have been paid;
  • all stored boxes have left our warehouse; and
  • there are no remaining active storage orders on your account.

If individual boxes remain in storage, your agreement will continue in respect of those remaining boxes.

32. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control

SPACEAGAIN shall not be responsible for delays or failure to perform our obligations where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

These circumstances may include, but are not limited to:

  • severe weather;
  • flooding;
  • fire;
  • power failures;
  • industrial action;
  • courier disruption;
  • road closures;
  • vehicle breakdowns;
  • pandemics;
  • epidemics;
  • acts of terrorism;
  • war;
  • cyber attacks;
  • government restrictions;
  • changes in law;
  • natural disasters.

Where reasonably possible, we will keep customers informed and resume normal services as soon as practicable.
